Code of Conduct:BLOOD AND FIRE MC is a family. We treat each other as brothers and sisters, and are here for each other in good times and bad times. For us to accomplish our group’s goals, and to be effective within the biker community, we need to abide by rules that will keep us both out of trouble with other groups, and moving forward with each other. Whether you are a new rider, or have put a million miles on your motor bike, it is important to understand the biker culture, and where it comes from. Below is an excerpt from the official.
Specific conduct for BLOOD AND FIRE MC members:
1. Conduct around kids: a. Watch the language; we are role models, as funny as that might be. b. No smoking around the kids. c. No drinking before we are to visit our kids. 2. Respecting our patch/logo: a. Should you earn full membership, your patch should be sewn on high and in the centre of your back on your vest. No other patch can be placed above your BLOOD AND FIRE patch. b. Never let your patch touch the ground, give it the respect you would a SA Flag. (Burn our patch and we’ll burn your ass, though.) c. Never leave your patch unattended. Around brothers and sisters is ok, but never go off and leave your patch on a bar stool, someone will steal it! d. Our patch/logo is sacred; it should not be thrown around lightly. Be careful using it on homemade documents or on the internet, you never know who could abuse it. e. NO MERCHANDISE IS TO BE CREATED USING OUR LOGO WITHOUT WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THE B & F. f. Your vest should be worn with pride and treated with respect. Members are encouraged to wear their patch whenever on the road as it increases awareness of the organisation; however, patches are mandatory for all official rides and functions. g. DO NOT wear your vest while driving a car. Your vest is a symbol of your membership in a biker organisation. When driving a car, you aren’t a biker (for the moment). 3. RESPECT your brothers and sisters. We all love bikes and kids, that is what is important and that might be where your similarities end. We can all have different opinions on politics, religion, etc. and that is fine. Disrespecting a brother or sister’s race, lifestyle, views, or opinions will be dealt with disciplinary actions up to and including your removal from the organization. On a side note, we can be known to give each other trouble now and then solely out of affection. When that crosses the line though, it’s time to stop, please remember that. 4. Riding: a. Follow the “Rules of the Road” that you were given, they exist to keep all of us safe, ride like a dumbass when you aren’t riding with the BLOOD AND FIRE. 5. Traveling/interaction with other organisations/clubs: a. BLOOD AND FIRE is NOT an MC and does NOT have territory. We give great respect to our brothers and sisters that are members of official MCs, and would never intentionally insult them or their club. If you are approached by a member of an MC that questions your affiliation, simply inform them that you are a member of BLOOD AND FIRE, an M.O. (motorcycle organisation) dedicated to helping kids in institutional settings, and that we have approached several area MCs and informed them of our mission, all of which endorse us as a proper M.O. Should you be ordered to remove your colours, do so without argument, and secure your vest in a safe place. If you are asked to surrender your colours, the choice is yours, but that is an official sign of disrespect and they will be deviating from protocol. Many of us would “not comply.” That’s it, follow these rules and we will have a good time, every time, and impact the lives of kids that really need us.
